Bugster combines two active ingredients for a better control of flying insects as well as crawling insects. Prallethrin offers a knock-down effect to Bugster while Cypermethrin ensures a residual effect up to 6 weeks. Therefore, Bugster is an effective solution in desinsectisation of buildings and open spaces.
Bugster must be applied to treat surfaces, not air, using a hand sprayer. It can be used in domestic premises, hospitals (except occupied rooms), factories, storage sheds, hotels, restaurant rooms, in public or municipal buildings, ships (but not in contact with unprotected food), shelters, gardens, garages, in and around livestock buildings (barns, stables, dairies, care rooms), roads, landfills and against wasp nests. This product cannot be used on porous surfaces, clothing, beds or plants.
Against crawling insects
The product must be applied where insects can be found, i.e. along baseboards, pipes, wall corners, boards,
under heat generating devices (kitchens, bathrooms, toilets), etc… More specifically, in broiler barns, use
Bugster as follow against :
Red mites : Treat one week before the end of the sanitary emptying. Identify all areas where red mites live,
i.e. cages, joints, cracks and crevices, under bent sheets, ends of metal bars, all areas where two surfaces
meet and areas where dust accumulates. Remove dust from the surfaces to be treated. Apply Bugster
on identified areas with a flat fan nozzle for fine spraying with maximum pressure of 2 bars. Keep spraying
until the liquid begins to flow from the sprayed surface.
Darkling beetles : Use Bugster as a spray during sanitary emptying, after the bedding has been placed
and before the equipment (water troughs, feeders, etc.) is introduced. Apply mixture in two steps :
1. Spray on the base of walls (1m high) and on the edge of the bedding (on a 1m wide strip)
2. Spray under the plates (on a 1m wide strip).
